The last bonus feature on the Crib Wars board is the Green Shortcut. There are two of them on the board.
If you manage to peg into the green row on the shortcut, your next points carry you along the green shortcut path, the same way that you would on a time trap. There are two shortcuts on the board. If you hit the first one, you skip 68 holes. The second one skips you 35 points and allows you to avoid one of the time traps.
All in all, with the time traps, shortcuts and skips, this game is a blast to play if you love crib. You will find yourself trying hard in some cases not to get points while at the same time giving someone else more points than they want, so that you can get just enough to hit the skip and force your opponent into a time trap or penalty box.
