Another game from the people that brought us Fluxx, this game is called Chrononauts. It's a time travellin game! And anyone who knows me knows that I do love me some Time Travel!
The idea of the game is that the timeline as we know it is wrong. Time travellers have messed with it and changed events to get it to be this way. You play one of 13 different time travellers whose mission is to manipulate world events in order to put the world back to the way it SHOULD be, so that you can go home. If you restore the timeline properly, then YOU WIN!
Along the way, people want you to collect various rare items as you travel through time. If you can collect all three items, then YOU WIN!.
Every time someone changes the timeline, they create a paradox. Paradoxes must be patched in order to repair the timeline. Every time you patch a paradox, you get to draw an extra card into your hand. If you manage to have 10 cards in your hand, then YOU WIN!.
Every change to the timeline causes one or more paradoxes. If there are ever 13 or more paradoxes, then EVERYONE LOSES!.
