Haha, made you look at my nuts! These are actually pecan nuts, I'm told. All hand picked from a pecan tree, then roasted once and shelled. Then roasted again and chopped up, ready for a pie topping*.
Next to the nuts is a mixture of some brown sugar that has been really amazingly packed down into the measuring cup, and then shaken out into the bowl, and the butter which you may remember from the ingredient parade, which was melted up and stuff and then mixed in with the sugar.
* Most of this is a blatant lie just for lyings sake.
