The first step in constructing a sushi is to put together a collection of cooked rice kernels. There are many ways to do this. The conventional method would be a pot of water on your stove. However, that's for sissies who don't have a rice cooker.
As you can see, I'm not a sissy. I got this boss rice cooker on super ultra sale. I can't pass up a super ultra sale. Plus I was making sushi that day, so it seemed like the ultimate excuse. As an added bonus, it's even all shiny.
It was at this point in the sushi making adventure that my expert advisor began his 1 hour long nonstop tirade about rice cookers, and how only an idiot would buy one that had english writing on it, even if it was cheap.
Actually, I jest. He started that tirade several hours previous, during the collection of the Plethora of Ingredients.
