Here's the most exciting action shot ever captured on film and displayed on a
website for the world to see. It is, a pot, inside which rice in a special broth
is slowly simmering and doing whatever else happens in there to get the rice to
actually cook. I'm not sure what, exactly. The rules for rice cooking say to
never, EVER take the top off while it's cooking, or something mind numbingly
horrifying will happen.
And so, you have to take my word for it that there's rice in there, cooking.
There was steam escaping around the lid a bit, but the steam is shy and doesn't
seem to have been captured on the film. No matter.
Nothing to do now but wait, I guess.
