From the kitchen this shows the laundry closet with the washer and dryer in it. Normally this would be hidden behind accordion doors, but they've been removed at this point to facilitate painting.
As much as I wanted to paint everything and make it look nice, the idea of unhooking and moving the washer and dryer just to paint behind them made me want to shudder, so ultimately I just ran a tape line down each side of the inside closet next to the doors so that when the doors are closed you can't see the secret shame.
