As in many food adventures, I started out by gathering up some or all of the food type items that would be required to construct the Apple Crisp. Including, of course, the patented quick oats.
This picture may or may not represent the complete list of ingredients. I'm pretty sure some small amount of flour was involved. And perhaps some white sugar. And that looks like way too much butter.. Well, anyway, these are some of the things I used in the construction of this dessert.
Please note that all of my apples have stickers upon them that certify them safe for the use in the construction of an Apple Crisp (including, of course, quick oats (tm) patent pending).
