After arriving in Niagra, we immediately headed to the hotel where we
would be staying. A hotel, by the way, that we had a reservation at. A
hotel, I might add, which specifically told us, when we enquired, that
an early morning checkin was absolutely no problem whatsoever.
So, after the guy at the hotel told us to come back at noon, when the people
who were occupying our room would be checked out, we went to do a little
shopping.
The thing about flying all the way across the country, even when you buy
the tickets months in advance, is that it's expensive. And the thing about
spending two weeks in a hotel is, it's expensive. And the thing about having
to eat out every night is.. well.. nevermind. In any event, the devious plan
was to buy various food related items, allowing us to eat any number of
simplistic meals (for example, sandwiches or cereal) right in the comfort
of the hotel room.
To that end, we went here, the No Frills store, where their motto is
"cans are a frill, buy your soup from this vat!". HAHA! Ok, I jest. Actually
it's just sort of a run down grocery store.
Interesting side note: They sold french vanilla flavoured yogurt. First time
I'd ever seen that. Even though I'm a yogourt fan AND a french vanilla fan,
I was too scared (to my very core) to try it out.
