Here we see an image of my new super shiney chrome rice cooker cooking some rice. We put some rice and water inside, turned it on, and pressed a lever. Immediately it started getting all hot and bubbly and stuff.
It's hard to tell, because of the magic of.. something.. but that red light is glowing really bright, to indicate that cooking is in progress. After a while, when the machine magically knows all the water has been absorbed or boiled away, it turns itself to "keep warm" mode, and keeps the rice warm.
We let the rice sit in the cooker to finish it's steaming for 20 minutes after the cooker turned itself to warming mode. This was by executive order of SushiChef, who insisted "It's CalRose, I know how to cook it!"
You don't fuck with a sushi chef, man.
