What (infamous) "Cheesy Potato" recipe would be complete without some sort of condensed soup? Not this one, that's for sure!
The recipe calls for 1/2 a can, which is unfortunate since they only sell the stuff in 1 can increments. As you can see, we have Cream of Chicken, which the "recipe" said to use. I asked the master chef if you could substitute some sort of other cream soup, like cream of mushroom, but was told (loudly) that "mushrooms are gross" and "I'm pretty sure your oven will explode if you use any other soup but cream of chicken."
For the record, this is half fat soup by accident alone. Clearly anyone that uses 2 cups of cheese in a recipe isn't overly worried about fat content.
