So, one day, I decided that it was time to get on with the hobby. I summoned my
personal chauffer, DriverGuy, and got him to take me to a place called Apollo
Hobbies, wherein I dropped a large wad of cash for everything you see here.
The thing that makes R/C stuff so expensive, besides the fact that the supply of
things is limited and it's a small segment of the hobby community so they can
charge what they want, is that nothing comes with nothing, so you have to buy
all sorts of stuff.
What you see here cost about $650 canadian dollars. For you people in the US,
that would be about $87 dollars or so.
What you see here is a car kit, a radio system, a motor, a gear to connect to
the motor, some batteries, a battery charger, wire, paint, bushing lubricant
(hehe, I said lubricant), and some cutting tools.
