I have this thing about sushi.. or, in particular I suppose, Sashimi (however
you spell that), in that it consists of fish and/or other seafood, which I hate,
in a state of uncookedness, which I find repugnant. However, there is some sushi
type things that are cooked, or raw, but raw in a way that nobody cares because
western culture says you eat that stuff raw.
Take for example this sushi, which consists of rice and seaweed (which I like)
and cucumber, which is of course, inert but yummy. I'd been pondering eating
something like this for a while, mind you, but hadn't actually done it. The last
time we were at Taisho, I had some that consisted of cooked shrimp and rice
(which I also had tonight but, sadly, didn't take a picture of). And so, I gave
it a shot.
Did I like it?
Well, this is a shot of the second plate I had someone grab for me off the
conveyor...
