In the kitchen we departed from the blue tones of elsewhere and instead went with a yellow color instead. It's a bit of a vivid yellow, but in the kitchen with the contrast of the fainter blue visible from everywhere else, it really works well.
I will say though that I'd like to find the guy who built the kitchen cupboards only an inch away from that upper bulkhead and slap him in the face, because painting that little under area was a supreme pain in the ass.
I'm not fully satisfied with the job that I did on that part, but I did the best that I could, so I'm going to consider that good enough.
